The UNI Forensics team, in conjunction with the League of Women Voters, will host an audience debate on health care. Using the resolution: "RESOLVED: The U.S. Federal Government should repeal the current federal health care plan (known as Obamacare)." This event is an opportunity for UNI students to debate one of the most important political issues in the United States. The debate will feature members of the UNI debate team who will use suggestions from the public to shape their debate speeches. Audience members can submit questions and debate topics to the UNI Speech and Debate Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/events/247155845340693/) by noon on Dec. 6. Students enrolled in Introduction to Sustainability will present their blueprint for a sustainable society in 2050 at a public forum. A poster session will be held prior to the forum. Free and open to the public.

Under the direction of UNI School of Music professor of clarinet Amanda McCandless, the UNI Clarinet Studio and Ensemble will offer a fall concert. This event is free and open to the public.

UNI School of Music faculty artist John Hines will present a voice recital titled Mozart and Friends. Hines will be joined by faculty artists Korey Barrett, piano, Julia Bullard, viola, Suzanne Bullard, cello, Hunter Capoccioni, double bass, and Frederick Halgedahl, violin. This event is free and open to the public.
