The Clothesline Project

Participate in Shine the Light on Relationship Violence Week by viewing the Clothesline Project display in the Maucker Union.. The Clothesline Project started in Cape Cod, Mass. and has become an international visual art campaign to raise awareness about violence against women, children, the LGBTQ* community and other marginalized populations. By hanging up collections of shirts representing the individuals who have experienced violence, the Clothesline Project brings to attention these acts, which are often committed in our own homes and communities.
