University Museum Exhibit - RACE: Are We So Different?

It gives them the tools to recognize racial ideas and practices in contemporary American life. The exhibit explores three themes: the everyday experience of race, the contemporary science that is challenging common ideas about race, and the history of this idea in the United States. Exhibit opening reception, February 9, 7:00pm. Museum hours: M-F 9:00-4:30 and Saturdays 1:00-4:00. Closed Sundays and holidays.

Guest Artist Recital: Philip Brisson, organ

Brisson is Director of Music and Organist at the Catholic Cathedral of the Assumption in downtown Louisville, the oldest inland Catholic cathedral in continuous use in the country. In addition to his duties at the Cathedral, Brisson is also Chorusmaster for the Kentucky Opera. Brisson is on the faculty of Bellarmine University and as an organ soloist, he has given recitals throughout the United States. This event is free and open to the public.
