The International Students and Scholars Office will sponsor a day trip to the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minn. The Mall of America is the largest shopping mall in the United States and offers countless shopping opportunities as well as numerous attractions, dining options and more. Cost is $20. Complete the Mall of America sign-up form (see event link) and come to ISSO, 113 Maucker Union, by Monday, Nov. 9, to pay and receive your ticket. Payments must be made in cash and exact change only. Space is limited; tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants are required to print, sign and date the Waiver of Liability and Hold Harmless Agreement and submit it to ISSO when paying for a ticket.

The Center for Multicultural Education (CME) and the International Students and Scholars Office (ISSO) are partnering to bring together local and global traditions of various cultures.
For the first edition of the academic year, join ISSO for Brazilian deliciousness and celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with the CME's Cultural Corner, Dia de los Muertes Paintings, 5-minute massages, pumking decorating, and a Loteria (Mexican Bingo) sponsored by the Hispanic Latino Student Union.
ISO offers newly admitted international students the chance to attend informative sessions, meet UNI staff and professors, register for classes, go shopping, participate in evening activities and much more. All new international students should complete the New International Student Arrival Form by Aug. 1. All undergraduate students should also register for ISO via the Office of Admissions website to prepare for advising.

Presentation by Fulbright Ambassador Anne R. Richards, associate professor of English at Kennesaw State University. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session. Refreshments will be served.
If you like having fun, attend the International Students Association's Halloween Dance. This event is free and open to everyone. ISA will be accepting donations for the Northeast Iowa Food Bank. Experience culture from around the world and learn about a country you might want to visit. All are welcome. Music will be presented by DJ Isa.
