Bb Learn 9 contains several reporting features to better inform instructors concerning student usage, performance, and to confirm visibility of course content to students. In this session we’ll acquaint you with what’s available and how to access this information.

Learn about the different Rod Library resources and services that can be incorporated into your eLearning classes. These will include linking to online articles, books and journals, and databases. Other topics will include electronic reserves, subject guides, and Ask Us library help widgets.

We'll also address downloading/uploading your gradebook to MS Excel, pointing out some of the hazards of which to beware. If you use Scantron for testing, you'll definitely want to sit in on this session.

Learn how the UNI ifolio system can support assessment and student growth in academic programs. This session will provide examples of ifolio use as well as time for questions. Bring a colleague and brainstorm together!

Bb Learn 9 offers a number of assessment tools including an online assignment tool for students to submit assignments electronically and a tool for online delivery of tests and surveys. Additionally, UNI has licensed the Turnitin Building Block which gives Blackboard users convenient access to Turnitin’s suite of learning tools, including Originality Check (plagiarism prevention) and GradeMark™, from within the Bb Learn 9 environment. This session will address each of these tools as well as resources to assist you in using them.

How can Adobe Connect benefit you and your students? Have you ever wished you could bring a guest expert into your classroom? This session will introduce you to this webinar technology. Ideas will be shared concerning it's use to support teaching and learning in addition to more traditional uses for webinars and meetings. Details will also be shared concerning how to get an Adobe Connect account.
