Be entertained at the creative performances of the Fifth Annual Graduate Student Research Symposium with nine diverse performances by graduate students from the School of Music and the College of Humanities, Arts and Sciences. Free and open to the public.

The Graduate Student Research Symposium gives graduate students an opportunity to present their research or project to the public. Presentations are in three formats: research poster, oral presentation or creative performance. Stop by the poster session from noon- 2 p.m. in the Maucker Union Ballroom or the oral presentations from noon-3 p.m. in the lower level meeting rooms of Maucker Union. Attend the creative performances at 6 p.m. in Davis Hall of Gallagher-Bluedorn Performing Arts Center. Support the graduate students and learn more about their research or project by attending the Symposium.

Curt Hanson, chemistry & biochemistry, will present "Mass spectrometry: It's not just for m/e anymore"  Please bring your lunch; cookies will be provided.

Dr. Shoshanna Coon, graduate college, will present a workshop on how to submit a student request, when and why a student request needs to be completed and the types of student requests. Additional topics include how to check on the status of the request, how to write a request and the approval process. RSVP to gradlife@uni.edu by March 6 if you plan to attend.

Tim Lindquist, accounting, will present "The Impact of National Culture and Moral Intensity on Ethical Decision-Making: U.S. versus Germanic Europe." Please bring your lunch; cookies will be provided.
