Gail Dines: "Supersexed: Pop Culture Images of Women in a Porn Culture"

Dr. Gail Dines, anti-pornography activist, lecturer and author will discuss the inner working of the porn industry, including the creation of media images of gender, sex and sexuality, and how such imagery contributes to violence against women. Dr. Dines' discussion is free and open to the public. No one under 18 admitted to presentation. This event is co-sponsored by Women’s & Gender Studies and the YWCA of Blackhawk County. Safe Date Tailgate
