"Egypt in Transition: Politics and Experiences of the Uprising and Transition Period" will be presented by Hillery Roach, UNI alumna and graduate student at American University, Cairo, will speak and answer questions.
The Department of Political Science will host a debate watch for the second presidential debate.
The conference will include presentations by various panels presenting research on topics such as state and presidential politics to foreign policy and national security.
UNI will host a taping of Iowa Public Radio's show "River to River." The show will air the following Monday, March 5. Discussions will include the latest about the 2012 presidential election and Iowa's legislative priorities. Forum participants are Dennis Goldford of Drake University, James Q. Lynch of The Gazette, and Chris Larimer and Donna Hoffman of UNI. The public and students are invited to participate.

The Daniel Webster Law Society and Prelaw Club will host Collins Byrd, assistant dean of admissions at the University of Iowa College of Law. Byrd will discuss the law school admissions process in general and UI's program in particular.
The Daniel Webster Law Society and Prelaw Club will co-host a Q&A session about law school. Scott Peters, department of political science and pre-law adviser, will discuss how to best prepare for law school, factors that law schools consider in admission, preparing for the LSATs and other areas of concern for pre-law students.
