Earth Science Seminar: Air Quality Internship Presentation

Roxi Woodside, earth science and environmental science major, will share experiences from her summer 2014 internship with the Air Quality Division of the Polk County Public Works Department.  She was involved with the Division’s ambient air monitoring program, assisting with site maintenance and data entry. Roxi also developed outreach materials including brochures, signage and a presentation for the Board of Health Advisory Committee. Her presentation was also made to school districts within Polk County.

Additional information about internship opportunities will be provided that will be of interest to not only earth science and environmental science majors, but all UNI students.
