The New Horizons Band will offer its spring concert. Under the direction of Diana Blake, the New Horizons Band features musicians 55 and older who travel from all over Iowa. This event is free and open to the public.
View the evening sky from the UNI observatory located on the roof of McCollum Science Hall. Meet near the polar bear outside of room 137 before 9 p.m. to be escorted to the roof. The event goes forward regardless of the weather. Potential targets for viewing through the telescope include Saturn.
The Botanical Center and Student Nature Society will hold their Annual Spring Plant Sale. Hanging baskets, tasty herbs, heirloom tomatoes, tropical plants as well as a limited number of summer lilies, caladiums and annuals for flower beds will be available.
