The UNI Botanical Center greenhouses and gardens will be featured in this year's Cedar Falls Historical Society Garden Tour. Tickets are $5 and may be purchased in advance or on the day of the tour at the Victorian Home located at 308 W. 3rd St; tickets will also be available on the day of the tour at each garden location. As part of the day’s activities, the Historical Society will offer two herb-related workshops at 1 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. at the Victorian Home and Carriage House Museum.

Join us for the senior category finals concert, the exciting final event at the Midwest International Piano Competition. Three senior category finalists will compete for the $10,000 top prize, a recording with Blue Griffin label, an artist management contract with Heartland Concert Artists and the opportunity to perform with the wcfsymphony. The finals competition will begin at 5 p.m. and will continue with a staged reception featuring appetizers, heavy hors d'oeuvres, desserts, drinks and celebrating.
