Yu-Ting Su, horn

School of Music faculty artist Yu-Ting Su, horn will present a horn recital. The first half of the recital will feature two works for horn and piano (Eurico Carrapatosoa's Sweet Rustica and Corrado Saglietti's Suite for horn and piano) that are the new standards in the horn repertoire. On the second half of the recital, Su will be joined by Claudia Anderson, flute, for Jan Bach's Four Two-Bit Contraptions, Heather Peyton, oboe, and Polina Khatsko, piano, for Herzogenberg's trio. This event is free and open to the public.

Karen Black, organ

Visiting artist Karen Black will present an organ recital. Black teaches organ, church music, and music theory at Wartburg College. She also conducts Wartburg’s Kantorei (formerly Chapel Choir). She holds the Bachelor of Music degree in church music from St. Olaf College, the Master of Music degree in organ and church music from Indiana University, and the Doctor of Music degree in organ performance and literature from Indiana University. This event is free and open to the public.

Randy Grabowski, trumpet

UNI School of Music faculty artist Randy Grabowski will present a trumpet recital with faculty artist Polina Khatsko, piano. The concert will feature a varied program including works from the late 1900's to the present, and will represent composers from Russia, the United States and France. This event is free and open to the public.
