UNI Opera (Sandra Walden, director) will join forces with the Northern Iowa Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Rebecca Burkhardt, to perform a variety of opera and operetta favorites. Opera is filled with moments of great drama, uproarious comedy, unrequited love, and the occasional happy ending, and this evening of opera will offer a taste of each! Hum along with your favorite arias, tap your foot to a lively chorus, and join us for a festive evening to remember. Following in the tradition of UNI Opera’s performances of Die Fledermaus (2011) and Die Zauberflöte (2012), Gallagher-Bluedorn will once more be filled with the sounds of opera!
