America Recycles Day, a program of Keep America Beautiful, is a nationally recognized day dedicated to promoting and celebrating recycling in the United States. Event organizers educate neighbors, friends and colleagues through thousands of events. As part of America Recycle Day, the RRTTC will hand out reusable water bottles.
The UNI Wetland is in need of a clean up; pizza will be served afterwards. Registration is free but required for food and t-shirts orders.
The Price of Sand is the second film in the Fall Environmental Film series sponsored by the UNI Recylcing and Reuse Technology Transfer Center and the Healthy Cedar Valley Coalition. The film focuses on the impact frac sand mining has on small towns in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

In 'STEM's Growing in the Garden' summer camp participants will enjoy a week of learning how science, math, health and nutrition all play a vital role in growing a garden. Students will explore Botany, Chemistry, Entomology, Microbiology, Math, Technology and Nutrition while actively gardening through the week. This camp is open to students entering 8th grade in the fall of 2013 through 12th grade.

Join us for a bike ride on local trails in honor of UNI Earth Week. Cyclists will meet at Mulligan's on18th St. and ride as a group with assistance from the Cedar Valley Cyclists. Come help cleanup the UNI campus in honor of Earth Week. All volunteers are invited to stay for free pizza following the cleanup. Pre-register at www.rrttc.com under "Current Events" for a free t-shirt. Registration not required for participation. All volunteers will meet outside near the Maucker Union fountain.
Enjoy free beverages and pizza at a screening of "The Clean Bin Project" in honor of UNI Earth Week 2013. This event is free and open to all interested students, faculty and staff.
