The UNI Student Affiliates of the American Chemical Society are hosting a Halloween House, free and open to the public. People of all ages will enjoy watching witches make Gummy Bears scream, pirates who turn pennies to gold, imps who breathe fire and Dr. Frankenstein channel electricity. Guests are also welcome to make their own gak, slime and liquid nitrogen ice cream!

Sonia Han, UNI graduate and Lab Technician at Cargill, will present "Breaking Cargill."
Rebecca Krewer, UNI graduate and medical school student at the University of Iowa, will present "A Crash Course in Medical School at Iowa."
Dr. Melissa G. Trainer of the NASA Goddard Space Center will present "Chemistry on Mars: Adventures with SAM and the Curiosity Rover."
Mark Busch, chemistry teacher at Southeast Polk High School, will present "No, I Am Not Walter White: Reflections of a Beginning Chemistry Teacher."
Barbara Jones, Senior FLM Specialist at ConAgra Foods, will present "ConAgra Foods Product Lifecycle Management."
Angela Hall, admission coordinator at Des Moines University, will present, "What You Need to Know to Land an Amazing Healthcare Career."
