"Women’s Work: An Insight into Nature, Beauty and the Domestic Object"

The exhibition is an invitational group exhibition of ceramic artists curated by UNI Professor of Art JoAnn Schnabel and features artists from across the country. Participants include Lesley Baker, Susan Beiner, Kim Dickey, Erin Furimsky, Kristen Kieffer, Jae Won Lee, Liz Quackenbush, Amy Santoferraro, Virginia Scotchie, Bonnie Seeman, and Professor Schnabel herself. Artist Virginia Scotchie will present a Lecture at 7 p.m. on Tues., Jan. 19, in KAB, room 111. An opening reception will follow. All events are free and open to the public.

"B.F.A. Group Exhibition"

The following students are pursuing Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees in their respective emphasis areas and are exhibiting new artwork to fulfill graduation requirements: Travis Gingerich (ceramics), Zach Leonard (drawing), and Dana Potter (printmaking). Opening Reception: Dec. 10 at 7 p.m. All events are free and open to the public.

"Roman-roamin'"

A UNI Permanent Art Collection exhibition co-curated by UNI Professor of Art History Dr. Charles M. Adelman and Gallery Director Darrell Taylor. Roman themed art objects from the UNI Permanent Art Collection are being presented along with actual ancient Roman artifacts from the UNI Museum. Please note, the Gallery will be closed during the university’s Thanksgiving Break from Nov. 21 through 29.

"2015 Department of Art Faculty Exhibition"

The exhibition is a formal presentation of recent accomplishments by the faculty in the UNI Department of Art and includes painting, drawing, printmaking, graphic design, sculpture, ceramics, photography, mixed media, and installation art as well as art history scholarship. The exhibition is an opportunity for students and the public at large to experience current themes in contemporary art. The opening reception begins at 7 p.m., Monday. Nov. 2, in the Kamerick Art Building (KAB) south lobby. Please note, the Gallery will be closed during the university’s Thanksgiving Break from Nov. 21 through 29.

Sarah Krepp and Garry Noland Art Exhibitions

BLOW-OUT II is an exhibition of sculptural forms and mixed media paintings by Chicago-based artist Sarah Krepp. Unorganized Territory is accumulated, stacked, layered, and collaged forms by Kansas City-based artist Garry Noland. Noland’s presentation is supported in part by Arts KC, the Kansas City Regional Arts Council. The artists will present a Gallery Talk at 7 p.m. on Mon., Sept. 28, in the Gallery. An opening reception will follow.
