With the passage of The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, many business owners are waiting to learn what this new legislation will mean for their bottom line. In this constantly shifting legal landscape, we are fielding many questions from Iowa business owners. UNI MyEntre.Net has partnered with the Iowa Small Business Development Centers to bring you this presentation about the Affordable Care Act for small Iowa firms (those with fewer than 50 employees) on IASourceLink.
Bob Mreen will be the presenter. Mreen is an account manager for the Cedar Rapids-based financial services firm TrueNorth.
Jim Heckmann, director of the Iowa Small Business Development Centers and Rob Williams from UNI & IASourceLink will be on hand to assist with questions and moderate the presentation.
Wasted: Feed the Folks, Starve the Landfills, a free, one-day event, will feature presentations, exhibits, tours, networking opportunities and will focus on exploring innovative strategies to reduce food waste in Iowa.
