UNI Entrepreneurship Symposium 2015

The UNI John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center is pleased to present the UNI Entrepreneurship Symposium. The event is open to the public and is free. No reservations required. This year's speaker is Drew Curtis, founder of Fark.com, an internet news aggregator. He is also the author of It's Not News, It's FARK: How Mass Media Tries to Pass Off Crap as News (2007). He recently announced his candidacy for governor of Kentucky. 

Elevator Pitch Workshop

Learn how to craft a winning elevator pitch by attending this workshop. Attendance of this workshop qualifies students to enter UNI's Sixth Annual Elevator Pitch Competition which will be held later in September. Winner of the competition automatically advances to national competition Oct. 30-Nov. 1 in Orlando, FL. Potential winnings are $2500.

Elevator Pitch Competition

UNI's Sixth Annual Elevator Pitch Competition. Winner of the competition automatically advances to the national competition which is held in conjunction with the National Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization conference later in the fall.  All expenses will be paid to attend this event, potential winnings are $2500. Open to public; families encouraged to watch their student compete.
