Academic Assessment

Dr. John Zubizarreta, widely-known expert on portfolios and the 2010 Carnegie/Case Foundation’s 2010 Professor of the Year for Baccalaureate Colleges, will be on campus for a day of conversation titled The Learning Portfolio: A Tool for Student Engagement and Inquiry”. All faculty and staff are invited to the following sessions: 10-11:30 a.m.  – Learning Portfolios: Reflective Practice for Improving Student Learning; 1-2 p.m. – Portfolio Thinking/Thoughts at UNI; 2-3 p.m.  – Inquiry and Reflection: Critical Strategies for Lifelong Learning.
