Majors in Minutes Spotlight

Students will have the opportunity to explore the following six majors at the Majors in Minutes Spotlight: family services, communications, public relations, communication disorders, health promotion and interactive digital studies. Each major will be in a separate room and each room will have a mix of representatives including recent graduates, juniors and seniors with internship or other practical experience and student organizations. There are two sessions; 6:30 to 7:10 p.m. and 7:20 to 8 p.m. Students can attend one or both sessions.

Majors in Minutes

Majors in Minutes is a way for students to learn more about a major. Set up is similar to speed dating; every seven minutes, a bell will ring and you have the choice to stay at your current table or visit a new one. This is a come and go event; bring any questions that you would like to have answered.

Junior and senior students from various majors will share their experiences or answer your questions regarding a major. This is a student to student event. Talk to your RA or PAIR, grab a couple of friends and join us that night.

Majors in Minutes

Majors in Minutes is a way for students to learn more about a major. The process is similar to speed dating -- every seven minutes a bell will ring and you have the choice to stay at your current table or visit a new one. If a major sounds interesting, you or a group of students can sit down and visit with an upperclass student within the major to learn more. After the bell rings, you may move to another major. Go to as many or as few as you would like. All students are welcom.
