UNI will be hosting the 2012 Iowa Regents Institutions Disability Awareness Summit from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m on October 10 in the Commons. This event is intended to promote the spirit of inclusiveness with a special focus on accessible and assistive technology. 

The summit is open to all UNI students, faculty and staff, as well as those from other Regents Institutions. The keynote speaker is IT Access Specialist Timothy Creagan from the United States Access Board.

TIAA-CREF is hosting a seminar alongside the Employee Benefits & Wellness Fair to share information about the new Roth 403(b) retirement option. This provides another way to contribute to your supplemental retirement annuity with after-tax dollars.

Human Resource Services is hosting a benefits and wellness fair for all faculty and staff. Enjoy interactive health and wellness activities and visit with more than 50 vendors from campus, the Cedar Valley and across the state of Iowa. More than 50 door prizes will be given away. Stephanie Lawrence, Allen Employee Assistance Program, will explore mental health at work. Topics will focus on understanding mental illness, appropriate responses to mental health at work and creating an inclusive work environment for all.
