Visiting artist Mary Stolper will present a flute recital. Stolper is a frequent soloist and chamber music performer who has made guest appearances throughout the United States and Europe. Currently, Ms. Stolper is Principal Flute of the Grant Park Symphony, Chicago Opera Theater, Music of the Baroque and the new music ensemble Fulcrum Point. As an active studio musician she has also played for hundreds of TV and radio commercials. This event is free and open to the public.

Under the direction of UNI School of Music faculty artists and conductors Amy Kotsonis and John Len Wiles, the UNI Women’s Chorus and Varsity Men’s Glee Club will offer a shared fall choral music concert. This event is free and open to the public.

Kairos Trio, comprised of UNI faculty artists Cayla Bellamy, bassoon, Amanda McCandless, clarinet, and Heather Peyton, oboe, will present a chamber music recital. Additional collaborators and repertoire to be announced. This event is free and open to the public.

Thursday, October 20, 2016 - 7:30 pm

Under the direction of faculty artist and conductor Rebecca Burkhardt, the Northern Iowa Symphony Orchestra will offer its fall concert. This event is ticketed. For tickets, call 319-273-4TIX.

Friday, October 21, 2016 - 6:00 pm

Students from the UNI tuba and euphonium studio will perform in this recital, led by tuba/euphonium professor Jesse Orth. This event is free and open to the public.

This is the political revue to “Trump” them all. The Second City partners with Slate Magazine to combine improv with up-to-the-minute scripts to skewer candidates of both parties. Whether you wear red or blue, UNELECTABLE YOU will have you rolling in the aisle at the campaign trail humor our candidates have so generously supplied. Find reprieve from the political madness with this hilarious political parody.
