Artist Series: It Gets Better

It Gets Better, born from a simple YouTube video, has changed and saved the lives of countless bullied youth. It Gets Better the performance reminds us that the world can be a difficult place, but today passes. It encourages us to keep going, to remember that “it gets better,” that life gets better. The renowned Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles commits to that message with their “It Gets Better” musical, written and sung in collaboration with UNI and the Cedar Valley community. The GMCLA will do a campus residency early in the week to educate students about the LGBT experience, culminating in their powerful performance on Saturday night. Join us in this campaign to stop bullying and help spread the love.
