The Autism and Arts Education Symposium is a 2-day conference that features research, practice and showcase in the arts and autism. The purpose of the symposium is to bring together researchers, practitioners, teachers, therapists and parents who specialize in arts education for children with autism with the purpose of sharing ideas and learning more about the benefits of the arts for children with autism. The New Horizons Band will offer its spring concert. Under the direction of Diana Blake, the New Horizons Band features musicians 55 and older who travel from all over Iowa. This event is free and open to the public.

The UNI Suzuki School will offer their spring honors recital. This event is free and open to the public.

Wednesday, June 3, 2015 - 7:00 pm

North Star Community Services will host a production of "The Jungle Book" featuring an ensemble cast of people with a wide array of abilities.The event is free and open to the public. Join Mowgli, Baloo, and all the rest for some fun jungle antics as North Star's actors, along with community volunteers, explore their wild side.
