Sports. Meat. Sex. Beer. Guns. What does it mean to be a man? This show takes a close look into current issues surrounding the relationship between masculinity and violence. Using a collaboration of various dramatic and satirical sketches along with poetry, narratives and more, Boys Will Be Boys examines things we associate with masculinity to question how US culture teaches boys to be men. Performances will be followed by an audience discussion of the themes and issues that emerge from the show. This production contains mature themes and situations.
Scripts will be provided at auditions. Persons of all sexes/genders are encouraged to audition.
