Active Learning Using Decision-Making Strategies

Wednesday, November 14, 2012 - 6:00 am to 7:00 am

This session is led by Lindsay Cohn, political science. Students often find that simulations help them understand abstract concepts better than just reading about them. This session explains and demonstrates some of the games or simulations done frequently in Cohn’s class. In the second part of the session, we will brainstorm ways to apply these game types (negotiation, strategy) to other disciplines. Sponsored by the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost.
