It's never too early in the semester to enhance your skills and learn new strategies for academic success. The Reading and Learning Center offers FREE 4-week courses designed to help you read faster and study more effectively, or prepare for the PPST or GRE. Choose one or more of the courses to attend.
Below is a description of the courses being offered during the semester and on-line
registration form. Take advantage of these opportunities to develope
your reading and learning strategies. Sections are small, so space is
limited.

- Learn how to prepare for exams.
- For students preparing to take or retake the Pre-Professional Skills Test for admission to UNI's Teacher Education Program
- Required text: PRAXIS I: PPST published by Cliff'sTestPrep, available in bookstores for about $17.00.
- For students preparing to take or retake the Graduate Record Exam - General Test.
- Required text: GRE Exam, published by Kaplan, available in bookstores for about $22.00.
