Learning Assistance

Trying to adapt to new material, and still not getting it? If so, you may have learning issues that may impede or limit your academic progress.

Scheduling your Appointment

To make an appointment with Gina Burkart, our reading and learning assistance coordinator, please call the coordinator's office at (319) 273-2361 or (319) 273-2361 and say that you would like to meet with Gina. Whoever answers the telephone can schedule that appointment.

At the time of the appointment, come to Room 8 of the Innovative Teaching & Technology Center (ITTC). Bring with you the text(s), notes, reading material and/or syllabus for any course of concern, or for which you wish to work on. Appointments with Gina are free of charge to all currently enrolled UNI students.
