Welcome to the College Reading and Learning Center!
The College Reading and Learning Center (CRLC) is an academic service open to all currently-enrolled UNI students, faculty, and staff. At the College Reading and Learning Center, you will find support for your academic goals in a friendly atmosphere. Our trained and certified academic coaches are eager to assist you in your college experience by showing you strategies for effective learning, and working with you to improve your academic skills. This includes, but is not limited to, strategies in time management, college reading, and studying. There are several ways to access our services. You can call (319) 273-6023 or visit us at ITTC 008 to schedule a one-on-one appointment with an academic coach. Visit the A-Team Sunday evenings from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm for drop-in interdisciplinary tutoring at the Rod Library, room 287. To sign up for a College Reading and Learning Center workshop, click the "ALC Workshops and Registration" link on the right.
Academic coaches are certified by the National Tutoring Association (NTA), and the program is certified by the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA).
