I received this reply from a SPSS Account Executive, when I asked whether SPSS for Windows version 13.0, currently in beta, was going to fix the SPSS crashing on SMP/HT systems:
"I forwarded your e-mail to the developers and the product manager and they said we expect this issue to be fixed in version 13.0 which is due out in the next several months."I'd still wish it were fixed in version 12.x, but since we pay a yearly license here, fixing it in the next version is better than nothing! Until version 13.0 ships, my runaffny.exe program is working well enough.
