Lifelong University
UNI's Lifelong University (LLU) launched in 2005 to offer short-term, noncredit courses to the lifelong learner.

UNI remembers 9/11

A Lifetime of Learning Opportunities
Benjamin Franklin said, "An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest." As a lifelong learner, Franklin knew that it doesn’t matter if the investment is made when you're 8, 18 or 80 because the dividends are the same: your world becomes broader, your life becomes richer and your wisdom becomes deeper. What does matter, however, is that you keep learning.

As I recap my last four years at the University of Northern Iowa, nostalgia sets in and a whirlwind flashback begins, reminiscing on the great experiences and people that I have been fortunate to come across during my time here.
The culmination of four years will come to a close this Saturday for 1,900 Panther students as we begin a new chapter in our lives.

'Diversity Matters' at UNI
Located in the heart of Iowa, the University of Northern Iowa draws the vast majority of its students from within the state. Yet among the 13,000-member student body, another 45 states and 70 countries are represented. Eleven percent of UNI's resident assistants are ethnic minorities. Campus organizations encompass a variety of ethnicities, religions and lifestyles.
