MMM
A favorite UNI Professor has fallen. But by whose hand? The jealous colleague? The disgruntled grad student? The student who "didn't deserve that awful A-?" Use your wits and your mathematical abilities to solve this heinous crime! Come to find out who perished. Stay to figure out why! Or, stay for the food.
The Mayhem begins at 7pm on Wednesday, November 7, 2007.
UNI Math Day
The Math Department holds an annual Math Day event for students to
learn more about our programs and courses. Come to hear about the
exciting things going on, and what being a math major at UNI can mean
for you.
Wednesday, January 16th, 2008.
Integration Bee
It's not Scripps, but we all know Bees can't spell. The question is: "Can YOU integrate?"
Join other students from around the area to compete in a test of integration skills in the
Prizes awarded to the top finishers!
Wednesday, April 16th, 3:30pm.
(We promise it won't be too taxing.)
Math Club
The Math department sponsors an undergraduate mathematics club. All interested students are encouraged to attend and see what the fuss is about. Regular presentations by faculty members on interesting ideas, mathematical games, and FREE PIZZA.
Meeting on the first Wednesday and third Tuesday of every month at 5pm in WRT 119. Contact Prof. Vera Rayevskaya for more information.
