2009-10 Scholarship Recipients

Chad Albert
Chad “Chalbert” Albert is a senior theatre major from Atlanta, Georgia. With a focus on lighting design, Chalbert is working as a co-lighting designer with Eric Lange for Marat/Sade this semester. He will also design lights for the senior showcase production of Three Tall Women in February. Chalbert spent this past summer in Utah, working as a scenic intern at the Utah Shakespeare Festival.

 

Aaron Mayer
Aaron Mayer, a senior from Fairfield, is pursuing a theatre degree with an emphasis in Design and Production. This season, Aaron is serving as the scenic studio technical director for What I Did Last Summer and Three Tall Women.

 

Ronald L. Wells, Jr.
A senior with a passion for scenic art and design, Ronnie Wells will serve as scenic artist for Marat/Sade and Wind in the Willows, as well as scenic designer for Three Tall Women this season. Ronnie recently returned from Kilgore, TX, where he spent the summer working as a carpenter for the Texas Shakespeare Festival. Ronnie hails from Melcher, Iowa.

 

Katy Slaven
Katy Slaven, a senior theatre major from Mason City and Presidential Scholar, has appeared in productions of Three Sisters, The Crucible, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, A Chorus Line and The Misses Pirie & Woods at the Strayer-Wood. This fall, Katy is serving as music director for Marat/Sade.
