The UNI Department of Theatre Design and Production emphasis prepares students to work in professional theatre in a variety of jobs or pursue further education in graduate theatre programs.
Students will take core classes in:

Elective classes include stage management, theatre management, senior project, and
topics classes such as model making, costume history, and properties.
Students are also provided opportunities to hone their craft through a variety of production assignments,
from stitchers, carpenters, and electricians to assistant designers and stage managers,
during the Strayer-Wood Theatre's main stage season.
