UNI's Writing Center offers individualized assistance for first-time test-takers and PPST re-takes. Pick up a preparation packet from the Writing Center reception desk, 008 ITT. Work through practice items and then schedule an appointment with a Writing Assistant who will help you evaluate the patterns in your missed items. Your Writing Assistant will help you plan a course of action to refresh your grammar and proofreading skills, manage your 30-minute essay task, adjust your test-taking strategies, or all of these approaches if needed.

Call 273-2361 to schedule an appointment. You may work with a Writing Assistant up to two one-hour sessions per week until you are ready to take the exam.
