To receive an Iowa teaching license, you must successfully complete the
UNI Professional Education Sequence (PES) courses. The PES chart also lists UNI waivers/substitutions for specific majors. (Transfer students and graduate students should have a degree audit by the UNI Registrar’s Office to identify further course substitutions.)
