A variety of online and other resources, as well as Center programs and
activities, can aid faculty who strive for excellent teaching.
We have carefully selected some of the best
online resources, among the many available, and organized them into four major
topics and several sub-topics. To help users locate web resources of most
interest to them, we have prepared a brief summary and/or key questions for
each topic and sub-topic.
The four major topics and key questions
addressed by each resource section are as follows:
- Tools
for Teaching:
Where can I find a compendium of resources and practical, step-by-step
advice toward achieving excellence in teaching?
- Teaching
Strategies: How can I plan and implement my courses for attaining
the excellence I desire in both my teaching and my students' learning?
- Larger
Classes: Which practices and resources can help me attain
excellence when teaching larger classes?
- Diversity
& Community: What can I do to strengthen both my class and
university as a learning community that respects and appreciates
diversity?
