Mentors for new faculty are assigned by the head of the department in which the new faculty member is joining. The Center meets with the mentors prior to the New Faculty Orientation. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the role and expectations of mentors, as well as the role and expectations of new faculty who will be mentored. 

The dates, times, and locations of this meeting will be announced.
