In Summer 2000, the Center began a
new tradition of hosting at least one annual institute for invited faculty
to concentrate over several weeks on the improved design and development
of their courses in a selected area of the undergraduate curriculum.
The first summer institute was targeted
at faculty who teach Humanities I and II courses, and was such a success
that another Humanities Institute was held during Summer 2001.
Also for Summer 2001, a new workshop
was developed for faculty who teach Capstone. To learn more about either
of these events, follow the links above.
