The Class of 1957 Heritage Endowment Fund is a program
established and supported by the UNI graduates of 1957. Its purpose is
to provide small grants to faculty who invite UNI alumni to discuss with
current students connections between their work, their lives, and their
education at UNI.
An alumnus might present a lecture,
lead a field visit to his or her workplace, consult with a group of students
working on a project, or assist a faculty member in developing a course
or activity. Please note that current UNI faculty and staff are expected to
contribute to ongoing developmental activities at the University and are
therefore not eligible for '57 Fund grants.
Grants can be used for honorariums,
transportation, lodging, food, telecommunications, and materials expenses.
Currently, each faculty member is eligible for a maximum grant amount of $500 per fiscal
year, not to exceed $250 per term.
To request funding through the Class of 1957 Heritage Endowment Fund, please complete the Request Form and submit it to the Office of the Provost via e-mail or to campus mail code 0707. Contact Cheryl Nedrow at 273-2519 with any questions. |
