  The Center sponsors university-wide conferences that bring together faculty, students, staff, and administrators. The purpose of these conferences is to promote conversations around a selected theme or concern for the enhancement of learning and teaching.

 Prior conference themes have included:

  • The Future of Learning and Teaching at the University of Northern Iowa (1995) 
  • Building a Learner-Centered Community (1996) 
  • Qualities Expected of UNI Graduates (1997) 
  • Strengthening Undergraduate Education at UNI (1998) 
  • The Courage to Teach (2000)

The dates, times, and locations of future conferences will be announced.
