The Professional and Organizational Development Network in Higher Education (POD) has adopted a set of ethical guidelines for educational developers, including organizational, instructional, and staff developers, as well as faculty and teaching assistants. The ethics statement offers comprehensive guidance regarding standards of behavior and competency, as well as handling conflicts and confidentiality. The Center for the Enhancement of Teaching uses these ethical principles in the conduct of its activities.
