Favorite Memory: Tagging along with TC and TK to hundreds upon hundreds of events over the past couple of years, it is hard to select just one. One constant trend, though, has always been the people. Team TC and TK team members are some of the most passionate people I have ever met and we are always working with someone new on campus, in the stands, or throughout the Cedar Valley.
Undergrad to Graduate: I was fortunate enough to have worked as TC's Purrrsonal Assistant as an undergraduate student when the mascot program shifted from UNI Athletics to the UNI Alumni Association. As the program grew, it became evident that the position hold a lot of responsibilities for an undergraduate student and the decision was made to transition it to a Graduate Assistant position. I was lucky enough to be selected to continue to work with the program through most of my graduate studies.
Favorite Tradition: The reveal of the mascots at graduation. Those students have given so much of their time and talents to the university. It truly is something special to see them in their first public appearance in from of their peers, the faculty, staff, and the greater UNI community.
