Chicago - Medieval Times - Navy Pier.

A quick trip to Chicago for a Medieval Times Thanksgiving was a trip to remember.

Got a great deal on a downtown hotel, made reservations for thanksgiving dinner on the web, and off we went.

Anything that turns Gabi into a princess is ok by me.

And once you get to the Navy Pier, you have to visit Ronald.

The view from out our window included this wonderful demonstration (unrehearsed).

These window washers rappelled down from the top of the building. They set themselves swinging on their ropes, grabbed the outer edge of the window, washed that, swung to the other side, continuing like a pendulum until they had cleaned all they could reach, then let themselves down a little more and started again.
