Waiting List

The Study Abroad Center strives for a certain number of students to participate in particular programs. This ensures that our programs have enough students to function well, but not so many that housing and logistics are cumbersome. For these reasons, there is sometimes a maximum number of spots available for a certain program.

If a student has applied for a program that is full or closed, they may request to be placed on a waiting list for that program. If a spot in the program becomes available the Study Abroad Center will email and call the first student on the waiting list, and offer the opening. Because spots may become available at any moment, students on the waiting list should always be prepared to immediately pay the $100 program deposit and possibly the full cost of an airline ticket.
