Program City
Florianopolis is the island capital of Santa Catarina. With over 40 beaches, innumerable parks and natural reserves, this city serves as an enchanting, busy, and touristic place to study. The excellent night life is balanced by historical beauty and natural surroundings.
Institution
No proficiency certificate is required. However, students must have a good knowledge in the Portuguese language to follow regular classes. The university has no programs/courses taught in English, but some professors offer part of their classes in English. The College of Education Science offers Portuguese classes for exchange students without any tuition fees. All majors at UDESC are available to exchange students.
