Re-entry Guide

Completing Your Experience

  • Program Evaluation. Please complete and return your program evaluation to the Study Abroad Center within 30 days after your program. [Program Evaluation Form] (PDF)

  • Final paper.  Write an essay of no more than 3-5 pages that summarizes your experience. This essay will be made available to other students interested in participating in the same program.

  • Exit Interview. Schedule an appointment for an exit interview with your program coordinator either in person or over the telephone.  If you graduate at the end of the program and will not return to the campus, the interview may be conducted over the telephone.

  • Transcript. If you receive a foreign transcript at the end of your program, please check with the Office of Admissions to ensure that your official transcript is received and evaluated for transfer. If the study abroad period was your last semester at UNI, you must have already applied for graduation prior to leaving campus.  While abroad--and especially after your return--you will have to speak with your record analyst in the Registrar's Office to make sure you meet all requirements for graduation.
