Prospective Students

We are excited that you are interested in studying abroad!

Study abroad is a rigorous academic endeavor that takes place in a foreign environment. It is a serious undertaking with many rewards and challenges for those who choose to take advantage of this opportunity.  

The first step in this process is choosing a program.  Please utilize the search tool at the left-hand side of the webpage to search via Country, Session (short-term, summer, semester/academic year), Type (Exchange, Partnership, Regents, Internship or Capstone), or Major.  To find out the the status of each program and whether we are still accepting applicants, please refer to the Program Status Chart. 

Once you have chosen your study abroad program, you must take steps to be admitted into a study abroad program.  First, you must apply, pay the application fee, be accepted, and then prepare for your adventure!  The process is not very complicated but it does take some time and patience.  It is a good idea to set aside some time each week to either research programs of interest or to complete paperwork in a timely fashion.  

Throughout the application you will be provided with application documents, brochures, handbooks, and other resources. It is very important that you read all materials very carefully to learn as much as you can about the program.
