It is a free individual website created by Mark Chandler. The aim of the site is to help international students with all aspects of living abroad in the UK. It currently has over 300 pages on a very wide
range of subjects, illustrated with hundreds of photos. At present about 40,000 visitors look at the site
each month.
Cultural
History of UK
This is a new web resource for those interested in multi-cultural Britain. The site contains a rich set of sources on the various waves of
immigration into the UK that have helped shaped current realities. It also may
be helpful in preparing to come to the UK and indeed in countering some of the prevailing stereotypes about this country.
