KRAKOW

Krakow is alive with character and soul. Its central Grand Square is the largest medieval square in the world. It homes the 13th Gothic Town Hall Tower, the 16th Century Renaissance Cloth Hall, and the 14th Century Gothic basilica of the Virgin Mary. The Grand Square is still the heart of city life with the numerous stores, restaurants, cafes, and clubs. You can also visit Collegium Maius, the Grand College Krakow University where Copernicus once studied.

While studying at the Jagiellonian University, you can travel northwest to the many beaches of Baltic Sea. When traveling to Warsaw, the capital city, you must stroll down Royal Way to gaze at the beautiful churches, museums, galleries and palaces or you could visit the Concentration Camp, Auschwitz, located west of Krakow in a town called Oswiecim, to observe one of the most prominent symbols of the Holocaust and WWII.
